Your iPhone will suspend or close the app when not in active use, waking it up in the background only when you arrive or depart. We use the most power-efficient mode of Location Services in iOS to make this work.

The accuracy of visit detection depends on many factors. You will get the best experience when you have good cell service, WiFi coverage and GPS reception in your area.
